His family was presented with a substantial bill shortly after they arrived at John Radcliffe Hospital, which is expected to increase due to the fact that he is not a British citizen and without insurance.

Two men, Krisma Anthony, 23, and Jahlil Chales, 22, have been charged with attempted murder and have been remanded into custody. Both are next due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 11 March.

Given the severity of Mr. Thompson’s injuries, his family now has to raise thousands of dollars to pay for his care, and their future is uncertain.
His mother stated about Tharel, “He is a free spirit.” “He cares about how he presents himself, likes to dress nicely, and is passionate about everything.” He enjoys riding motorbikes and jet skis, and because he works hard, he never complains.
“Every day, he tells me he loves me,” is something he does consistently. Having having had two operations, his family has been advised by the physicians to wait patiently for the pressure to drop before attempting to rouse him.
